2015 HUD SECRETARY DESIGN AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED
                    Two model affordable housing developments in and Vermont are the recipients of the 2015 HUD Secretary’s Housing and Community Design Award, each recognized for excellence in affordable housing design.  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) selected  Co-Op Plaza Redevelopment in Brattleboro, Vermont as national affordable housing models.                
            HUD APPROVES $18 MILLION VERMONT DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN
                    WASHINGTON, D.C. - November 6, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today approved a $17.9 million disaster recovery plan by the State of Vermont to help local communities to recover from the lingering effects of Hurricane Irene in the summer of 2011.  Earlier this year, HUD allocated these disaster recovery funds to Vermont through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
