Vermont Clean Water Fund Board Will Meet on April 8, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — The Clean Water Fund Board will meet on Friday, April 8, at 1:00 PM at the Agency of Transportation 5th Floor Board Room in the Davis Building at the National Life complex in Montpelier. The public is invited to attend.

The Clean Water Fund Board was created by Act 64, also known as the Vermont Clean Water Act, which was passed by the legislature during the 2015 session and signed by Governor Shumlin on June 16. The Clean Water Fund Board meets periodically to discuss the Clean Water Fund and its support of programs that will make a significant contribution towards improving Vermont’s water quality. The members of the Clean Water Fund Board are the secretaries of the Agency of Administration, Agency of Agriculture, Farm and Markets, Agency of Commerce and Community Development, Agency of Natural Resources, and Agency of Transportation. The agenda of this meeting of the Clean Water Fund Board will include an update on the Clean Water Fund revenue sources, allocations from the Fund to support priority water quality improvements statewide, and the development of the first Clean Water Fund progress report for fiscal years 2016 and 2017.
